AUGUSTA, Maine – Summer is just around the corner and Maine’s businesses are offering great rates and deals for Canadian visitors. Dozens of Maine’s inns, B&B’s and hotels across the state have special offers and deals with rates at or near par for Canadians.

Visitors can find their perfect getaway whether it’s by the beach or in the woods. Maine’s outdoor wilderness provides awe-inspiring vistas at every turn, from lighthouses to loons, and the state’s broad culinary passion is tasted with every wild blueberry, lobster or craft brew. The warmer months are perfect for simply sightseeing or heading to a festival that demonstrates our pride in our culture and diverse heritage.
With more than 80 to choose from, here are just some of the special offers for Canadians:
Northern Outdoors – The Forks
Accepting Canadian currency at par for 2016 Penobscot rafting and lodging getaways.
Rangeley Lake Resort – Rangeley
Rangeley Lake Resort is offering a promotion of 20 percent off any reservations by Canadian visitors for two nights or more, from now until June 10.
Inns at Blackberry Common – Camden
A “Go south to Maine” getaway deal is available when guests book any two consecutive nights in June or July 2016. Canadian visitors will receive 25 percent off, based upon availability. Mention offer when making reservation to receive discount.
Libby Camps – North Maine Woods
Canadian visitors receive a 20 percent discount on any outpost camp booked by May 30.
Seagull Resort – Wells
Offering 10 percent off vintage cottages and 15 percent off contemporary cottages.
James Place Inn – Freeport
Offering Canadian visitors par on rates through June 2016.
Old Quarry Ocean Adventures – Stonington
Offering 15 percent off campsites and bunkhouse rooms.
Chesuncook Lake House and Cabins – Chesuncook Lake
Offering Canadian visitors par for lodging and whitewater rafting at Abol Bridge Campground, Rip Dam Cabins and Chesuncook Lake House.
